Born in Belfast, Sally has dual citizenship - British and Irish. She moved to Manchester as a teenager and went on to study Drama and French at Bristol University, then joined the Bristol Old Vic as an actor. She worked in theatre around the UK, the West End and in TV
Always passionate about photography from an early age, she documented productions that she appeared in from behind the scenes. Her backstage project the 12 Dames of Christmas was featured in The Telegraph and It's Nice That and was exhibited at Hackney Empire Theatre which led on to other commissions.
She made the move into unit stills photography after working on short films and has since worked in film and TV including coverage for flagship drama from BBC, ITV, SKY, NETFLIX and AMAZON
